March 28, 2023My band (Chill Paxton) hired Juan to be our sound engineer for an outdoor performance in Raleigh, NC earlier this month after forming a relationship with him from our past performances at Bowstring Pizza and Brewyard where he is the house sound engineer. Our sound at our performances at Bowstring with Juan mixing have been the best we have sounded in a live setting - including our on stage/monitor mixing and feedback from the crowd who have mentioned how well mixed we are when Juan is our sound engineer. Juan's professionalism, quality work, and friendliness prompted us to hire him for an outdoor performance earlier this month where he had our 5 piece band fully mixed (over 20 channels) with which we received great feedback on the sound from the venue owner, as well as fans of ours who have been coming out to see us for years. Additionally, Juan has recorded and provided us with multitrack recordings at every show he has mixed for us, and going back and hearing the raw mixed files confirms how well mixed the sound is. We can't wait to work with him again in the future!
