Darnell Kenneth was born on November 19, 1979 in Monessen, Pennsylvania . He began his musical studies at the age of 11. At the age 13 he started playing the piano and became interested in composition. In 2001, Anderson premiered his first work for big band at Pittsburgh's Mellon Winterfest Jazz Festival. Hailed as an "unique voice" and "artist to watch" by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Anderson is a veteran of the Roger Humphries Big Band. His Cypher Band debuted at the Pittsburgh JazzLive Festival 2016. His first album, 8th Window, was released in November 2016. His fusion Quantum Truth Band debuted at the Flood City Music Festival August 2017. His second album, Quantum Truth was released in November 2018.

Darnell Kenneth has performed all over the United States and earth, his 3 albums receive regular airplay on many local radio stations worldwide including those in Hawaii, UK, Japan, Germany, Poland, Canada, France and countless other countries. His latest project is AtomicHoliday set to record for the 4th album release. AtomicHoliday features electric guitar and also vocals; the emphasis is on having a great time in the moment of rhythm and dance featuring a wide catalog of unique arrangements of hits spanning the 1960’s to present day. Atomic Holiday’s Instrumentation ranges from acoustic guitar duos to grandiose full on ensemble with bass, drums, and auxiliary. We taylor to fit the needs of your event.
