Tara, your team's talent was evident. The music was so appreciated by all of our guests - friends and family who come from a long tradition of musical engagement, both as musicians and singers. We sincerely appreciated the thoughtful collection of pieces you played for our mother's celebration of life reception, following her funeral. The music spoke both to the solemnity of the occasion and our mother's cultural heritage and love of music. Music was the language that wove throughout her life. We hired Atoka String Quartet to play at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in October. Tara was easy to work with up front and was willing for her team to play any music selection we wanted, even particular versions of the songs. The musicians who showed up to play at our wedding were friendly, professionally dressed, and the music sounded great. The only disappointment was that they did not play the prelude music in the order I had requested. I had communicated the particular order to Tara in the weeks leading up to the wedding. The selection order was both meaningful to me personally, and critical to provide queues for the seating of family and the wedding party. Playing out of order led to confusion right before the ceremony was to begin, culminating in our best men having to walk down the aisle during the groom’s processional song. A critical misstep from Atoka that otherwise would have been a flawless execution.

We had Atoka String Quartet play at our wedding this past weekend. We opted for a selection of mostly pop songs, some movie themes and a few classical pieces, and they played everything flawlessly. They added an elegant touch to our wedding while also playing themes that the guests of all ages recognized (as opposed to just classical music). Their repertoire is massive - check out their site to see all the songs they cover. As a bonus, they were consistently responsive via email/text, and their estimate was very reasonable compared to some of the other quotes we received. Don't hesitate to book them for your event - you won't be dissapointed!

Played beautifully for our wedding

The Atoka String Trio was the perfect addition to our restaurant's grand opening night! The guests loved the live performance while they dined and have even asked when we will have them back.
