Atlanta Historic Dance delivers a unique performance experience. Dancers perform researched, period correct dances while modeling the latest fashions of the era. Let us help you create an unforgettable experience for your next event. We offer programs in a variety of dance styles from the 16 th century through the mid-20th century. Some of the most popular themes are the Masquerade Ball, Bridgerton, Outlander, Downton Abbey, 1920's and the fabulous Swing dance era!

December 28, 2022What a great evening!
I was hoping to have an evening of dancing that people if ALL ages could participate in and was nervous about how well it would go with many reluctant dancers. Kat did an amazing job of starting with something that was not only easy to pick up, but also super fun! After the first dance everyone was ready and excited to do more. I’ve never seen a party with so many people smiling and participating at once. A broke pipe in the building cut our fun off early, but everyone is anxious to know when we can have her back. Highly recommend!

What to expect
Atlanta Historic Dance is available for performance at reenactments, museums, festivals, schools, private parties, wedding receptions as well as motion picture and theatrical performances. Programs usually consist of a half hour performance followed by teaching one or two easy dances to your guests. Costumed greeter are available as well as private dance lessons. Performance length and content can be adjusted to fit your needs.

Atlanta Historic Dance is comprised of a group of talented individuals that have a passion for history and social dance. The group is dedicated to presenting these dances as accurately as possible in a fun and entertaining manner. Some of our members are early music musicians, actors and historic costumers. Performances are catered to fit your needs.
