Ashley Gilbert- Motivational Speaker

I am an aspiring Motivational Speaker encouraging students/adults to persevere during times of uncertainty and extreme hardship. After growing up in extreme poverty and suffering emotional trauma and abuse, I made my way through college and ended up working at one of the top petroleum companies in the world. Success wouldn’t last though. After losing everything because of a downturn in oil prices, I started over and began a second career, where I am now earning a PhD in leadership and serving as a teacher at a low income school. I have filed my own bankruptcy, sued and settled with a prominent private student loan company when no legal representation and suffered a divorce.
