I’m a former member of the U.S. Congress (R-TX), a former member of the White House Staff, a global management consultant, and a certified yoga instructor. An unprecedented mental and physical health crisis is underway, due to our inability to cope with the pace of life, and the pace of social and economic change: Opioid overdoses exceeding the combined casualties of the wars in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq, soaring obesity rates, and record high teen suicide attempts. This is life in the A.S.A.P. Lane (anxiety, stress, addiction, and pressure)! There is good news—there is an exit ramp! I provide a step-by-step regimen to making the exit for organizations and individuals.
Alan did a very nice job in articulating the message around ASAP Lane exit ramp and connecting the audience of the event where I invited him to speak . He brought out the topic of mind and body fitness which is a need for our society . He was very articulate , authentic which the audience connected well . I highly recommend him and will welcome future opportunities to work with him
Alan Steelman gave an informative, inspiring and engaging presentation on the benefits of yoga and meditation for overall well-being. His talk was very well-received by our guests.
The presentation was designed as an introduction to the ways in which yoga and meditation can counteract the impact of stress and help improve health through mind-body-spirit balance. Alan was highly professional, collaborative and accommodating in tailoring his talk for the demographic profile of those who would attend our gathering.
Alan Steelman spoke at one of our Publish A Book And Grow Rich bootcamps and was very well received. He's an accomplished speaker, warm, witty and engaging. The feedback on his content was superb. Given his experience as a former Congressman, business owner and global leader, we considered having someone of his stature at our event a privilege.
Black Card Books
Mr. Steelman's event was such a wonderful opportunity and it was quite a success. Sharing his own experiences of political life in Washington, Steelman engaged the audience of dozens of politically active and aspiring students; Steelman taught the audience how important mindfulness, and exiting the "ASAP lane" would be for their lives. The students were thrilled, and all those who attended the event were so eager to read his upcoming book that they signed up to have their own copy of “Yoga on the Yellow Brick Road.” Steelman is not only a wonderfully poised speaker, but his wisdom is a necessary truth for our future generation.
