Artemis is an independent singer-songwriter, performer and entertainer who built his career from the ground up—starting with busking in cities like Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York and Nashville before turning those street performances into stages, festivals, private events and original shows.

A graduate of James Madison University, Artemis began performing throughout college in Harrisonburg, Virginia, taking the stage at college bars, night shows and university events before expanding into the broader D.C. and Virginia music scene. His live career has continued to grow through performances at Richmond, Virginia, Mosaic District at Fairfax, Virginia, Shipgarten in McLean, Pinay Kitchen at Woodbridge, Virginia and other events throughout the region.

Artemis has also become a familiar face within the Filipino community, performing at Filipino festivals and events, appearing in Pinay Kitchen Idol Season 1, opening for major artists and performing regularly with Pinay Kitchen. He has headlined his own show at Pinay Kitchen while also opening numerous events and performances for other artists. His ability to perform both English and Tagalog songs allows him to connect with a wide range of audiences and bring a personal touch to Filipino celebrations.

His journey as a performer has also included some unexpected opportunities. Artemis has been hired on the spot after busking, performed as a background vocalist at pop-up markets around Dulles and the D.C. area, been booked for wedding proposals, and performed through GigSalad for festivals and private events. Every performance has helped shape his ability to read a crowd, adapt to different environments and create an experience around what the client actually wants.

Artemis isn't just there to perform—he works with clients to figure out what their event needs. Whether that means choosing specific songs, building a setlist around the audience, providing background music during a gathering, DJing, performing a full live set, or creating a special musical moment, he approaches every booking collaboratively and personally.

Musically, Artemis draws inspiration from artists such as Dominic Fike, Harry Styles, Bruno Mars, beabadoobee, Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, Daniel Caesar and Maroon 5. His performances move naturally through pop, rock, R&B and singer-songwriter music, with a repertoire ranging from recognizable crowd favorites to songs that reflect his own artistic identity. For Filipino events, he can also incorporate Tagalog songs to make the experience feel even more personal to the audience.

Alongside his work as a live entertainer, Artemis is building his career as an independent recording artist. With a growing catalog of original music, a growing Spotify audience and more than 48,000 followers on TikTok, he is developing a fanbase while continuing to perform wherever the music takes him.

What started with a microphone, a guitar and the willingness to perform for strangers has grown into a career built around connection.
