Artease Dance Collective

Artease Dance Collective creates two primary types of performances: choreographed acts and atmospheric/immersive performances.

A choreographed act is meant to have the audience's full attention. It's typically around 5 minutes per act and can be one or multiple dancers. Although our specialty is a fusion of ballet, burlesque, and contemporary dance, we have a uniquely versatile group of dancers and can tailor the style to fit a wide range of events.

Atmospheric performances are improvisational and are meant to occur while guests are mingling, walking around, dancing, etc. These typically occur in multiple sets throughout the night and can be staged in a stationary spot or moving through the audience.

Artease Dance Collective showcases femininity, elegance, and sensuality through dance performances at the intersection of art and entertainment. Our mission is to encourage audience members to live their lives more deeply and passionately. Artease coalesces ballet, burlesque, gogo, and contemporary dance. Recent performances include the Folsom XL Gala in San Francisco, Off Strip Charity Ball & Cabaret in Las Vegas, Epoque Visual and Performing Arts in Oakland, and a corporate event at Vizcaya Mansion in Sacramento.

About the Director: Annelise Eastes has directed award winning collaborative projects, stage managed shows on the Las Vegas Strip, showcased her choreography internationally, managed dancers in nightclub settings, worked as a bookkeeper for arts and entertainment companies, and has performed professionally in several genres of dance. She has a B.F.A. in Ballet Performance from Butler University with a minor in Business Administration.

We specialize in bringing dance to unconventional spaces, so a theatrical stage is not required for our performances. We can work with venues of any size or layout. We do not provide lighting or sound unless otherwise specified.
