What to expect
Solid, reliable, mature performer with an excellent vocal range. Multifaceted, playing both 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars along with harmonica, and unique, home studio backing tracks. My covers are meant to provide the key elements of those tunes while modifying and enhancing them for solo acoustic performances.

Art Wildish is a versatile performer, singer, songwriter, and musician who sings music spanning the decades from pop, rock, folk, and alternative genres as well as original compositions, while playing 6 and 12 string guitar and harmonica. His solid vocals, and unique arrangements include covers from Eagles, The Mavericks, Ed Sheeran, Gin Blossoms, Jason Mraz, John Mellencamp, Bad Company, Counting Crows, Queen, Jack Johnson, Daughtry, The Beatles, and many more.
Art performed for a number of years with the Chicago area band “Eleventh Hour” playing rhythm and acoustic guitar, and electronic percussion, and providing backing and lead vocals. More recently, he played drums and sang backing and lead vocals with the adult group at "The House of Music" in Lake Geneva.
Though he toyed with songwriting at a very early age, it wasn’t until the 80’s that he made more serious attempts at writing music. And then last year, he immersed himself in the home studio software that had been collecting dust on the shelf and set about creating his first demo album of original material, now available for purchase and download on this website. The album, appropriately titled “Life, Love and Philosophy” re-envisions many tunes he has written over the years, along with quite a few new songs. Many of these are included in his act.
