Art of Rolando DeCastro

If booked for your event, I will arrive 30-45 minutes early for set-up. Each face will take three minutes to draw and I will put finished drawings in bags. I will give you a physical invoice after the event is over and also email you a digital invoice for personal records.

Rolando Jose DeCastro III has been happily drawing caricatures for eight years at corporate events, weddings, and parties. Starting as an artist at the Indianapolis Zoo, Rolando has extensive experience drawing people quickly and capturing a great likeness, while also accentuating the sitter's personality. When not doing caricatures, he teaches animation courses for the Computer Graphics Technology Department at IUPUI and does freelance illustration work for the video game and film industry.

I always bring my own table, chair and easle! If your event can provide me with at least two chairs for people to sit, that would be great!

For markers, I use a combination of Black Crayolas, Copics, Chartpaks, and Sharpies. I also bring bags and rubber bands for people to store their drawings.

It takes me three minutes to draw a black and white face and only five minutes to do both color and ink.
