Overview
I'm Arsh Kaur, a bilingual poet and author from Edmonton, and I bring a vintage typewriter and a whole lot of heart to your event. Guests tell me a word, a name, a feeling, anything, and I hand them back a custom poem, written on the spot, just for them.
Here's what makes me different: I'm not pulling from a stack of pre-written poems. Every single piece is composed live, on the spot, based on what your guest gives me. That means no two poems are the same, and every guest walks away with something nobody else in the world has.
Weddings, corporate events, markets, cultural celebrations, birthdays: if your event has people in it, typewriter poetry gives them something to remember it by.

What to expect
I can write you a poem in less than five minutes.
About what?
Option 1: You give me a topic. Anything. Flying chairs, blue trees, purple skies. More unordinary, the better.
OR
Option 2: We chat. I ask you questions. Get to know you. See inside your soul. Ask you what you dream of and other fun questions and I write a poem on you.
Most adults go for option two and they leave smiling like a child.

Arsh Kaur is a writer based in Edmonton. She has a gift of writing poems. Her favorite poems to write are love poems. Hence, she loves talking to couples to know their love story and writing them poems.
