At age 9, I performed magic shows complete with music & 2 white doves that lived in my bedroom. That started a magical journey and a lifetime of awesome jobs. At 15 I joined the staff of our local TV station as a Production Assistant. A few years later, I began a 10-year radio gig. By 30, I had packed my bags for Nashville, Tennessee (a short drive from Oregon). After 11 years in the Country music biz, I moved to Minnesota, leaving my grits behind for some Lutefisk.
In 2006 I opened Archibald Studios Media - a full-service studio designed for voiceovers. My company also does commercial photography and video. I live in northeast Minneapolis and have a 15-year-old daughter who knows every word of Hamilton and has raised the bar on dry humor. A proud papa.
My studio consists of a custom recording booth utilizing a TZ Stellar X2 Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser XLR mic with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen USB Audio Interface. My custom-built PC tower is a beast of a machine and has Adobe Audition with Audacity as a backup. I have experience mixing audio in various situations. 25+ years in Radio and Television production hasn't hurt. I've written and produced hundreds of radio spots for a variety of clients.
