I studied the Rider-Waite tradition, working from A.E. Waite's original 1910 meanings as my foundation. I take it further by translating those meanings with modern psychology. Each card is grounded in a real psychological concept (Maslow's hierarchy of needs, logic and emotions from neurologically separate parts of the brain, etc.). This allows my readings to stay consistent and genuinely explanatory rather than vague or mystical. At the end of the day, my reading style is no-nonsense, honest and specific, without relying on shock value from doom-and-gloom fortune telling. The cards say what they want to say.
