Outstanding

April is an exceptionally talented musician. Her keyboard work and vocals are outstanding, creating a wonderful vibe for the event. She is a true professional, arriving early, setting up quietly, and communicating clearly and consistently throughout. Her music selection was perfect and included a great variety of holiday tunes for our Corporate Christmas Party. I would absolutely hire April again.

Price range: $200.00 and up

What to expect

If I am performing as a single. I will either sit down at the clients piano or bring my own electric keyboard to play.
I will be dressed for the type of event and venue.
I will perform a variety of recognizable songs from different eras of music depending on the audience and occasion. Jazz and variety.
I am able to play instrumental melodies of songs, thus providing great background music for parties & events.
Regarding Christmas parties I have an entire evening of Christmas tunes available without repeats.

If I am performing as a duo or band.
We will provide our own equipment to perform.
Everyone will be dressed appropriately.
We will perform a variety of recognizable songs from different eras of music depending on the audience and occasion. Jazz & Variety.
We are able to play instrumental melodies of songs, thus providing great background music for parties & events.
Regarding Christmas parties we have an entire evening of Christmas tunes available without repeats.

About

I was born in Texas on April 3rd., but raised in the Washington D.C. area where my family and environment exposed me to the sounds that shaped my musical style.
Although self taught on piano. I discovered that I possessed a natural talent and have worked to hone that talent. Years of playing as a single or with bands have expanded my repertoire and skill level.
I have made music my life performing jazz and a variety of favorites as well as original compositions for audiences around the globe.
Living in Memphis, Las Vegas, S. California Houston and finally New Orleans has helped to shape my world view of music and an ever evolving art form.
Whether I'm performing Trad Jazz in the Quarter or accompanying an R&B vocalist on the Strip I'm happiest when I'm playing music.
