Anthony Torino

Anthony Torino is a nationally-touring headline comedian who has been seen on Showtime in “Comedy Warriors” and performed in legendary venues to include the Laugh Factory, MGM Grand and headlined the Improv. Torino’s comedic performances are highly-energetic, audience-interactive and hilarious. Torino’s comedy is drawn from his professional, military and life experiences.
Torino joined the USAF at the age of nineteen where he became an Occupational Therapist. Upon military discharge, he would obtain his Bachelor’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Behavior Modification and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Development. During his therapy/counseling career he treated physical dysfunctions, mental dysfunctions and drug/alcohol addiction. He created and owned rehabilitation clinics in his early thirties. By his mid-thirties his rehab clinics made him a leader in his field and a multi-millionaire. He would also find his soulmate and marry. A mere five years later Torino would be a widower and broke. At the age of forty-five, Torino decided to pursue comedy. He would go on to co-host two radio shows, appear in Showtime’s “Comedy Warriors” and a mere five years later he would become a headliner at his hometown IMPROV comedy club. Torino has featured for many legendary comedians in some of the most hallowed comedy venues in the country. He is also co-founder of Crosshairs Comedy (military veteran comedians). Torino has written comedy sketches, a short comedy film and is presently pitching situation comedies and feature films which include his professional and life experiences. Torino’s stand-up comedy is a hilarious mix of his professional and personal experiences. He closely examines our irrational life in a confrontational, energetic and rational fashion.
