I am a classically trained, freelancing violinist and teacher in the Twin Cities area. I play weddings, social events, church services, funerals, school music concerts, and more. I'm happy to work with you to fit your event's needs. I hold a degree in Violin Performance from St. Olaf College, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Annika played her violin beautifully at my wedding ceremony. She made my day so special! Annika is dependable and easy to work with. She met with us and a pianist several weeks before the wedding to discuss what to play and when to rehearse. Even though we didn't have specific pieces in mind, Annika had several suggestions and was very flexible. She takes pride in her work and made sure that she was well prepared for my wedding. She communicates quickly and clearly, which put my mind at ease. Thank you, Annika!
Annika joined my concert as a soloist on several choral pieces and played with our chamber orchestra as well. She was flexible with changes, on time, professional, and courteous. My students were impressed with her and it was great to have her participate in the event not only as a collaborative musician and guest artist but also as someone my younger students could look up to. She was able to perform all required pieces with just one check-in rehearsal (during a larger dress rehearsal day)
Would hire again.
