Amazing experience from start to finish! Annie was in continued contact with me from the moment she sent her demo videos until the end of our party. Surprise 60th birthday party for my husband for a group of 100. Annie traveled over 3 hours to play for us and she made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. From her masterful musical talents to her warm and accommodating personality she (and her hubby) were more than we could have asked for. Her piano skills and vocal range were both exceptional. The birthday "boy" joined her on the bench for a fun sing along with the remaining guests which occurred after her "official" ending time. Stayed late without a word and kept the party going knowing how much fun we were having. If you are looking for quality, dependability, talent, personality and an overall great person, Annie is your gal! Annie walked into our living room with 25 family members and with her big southern smile and warm infectious laugh she charmed us all. Her piano playing and occasional singing, sometimes with our accompaniment, made our 50th wedding anniversary party so much richer. She did some special requests and added The Feather Theme from Forrest Gump to her repertoire just for me. And cranked out Rocky Top with a genuine gusto for a family sing along. Yes what a gem. So lucky I hooked up with her through Gigsalad.

As a singer/pianist/keyboardist, I have performed for audiences as small as one and as large as two thousand! Performing is in my blood—I've sung in public since I was three years old! I started piano lessons at age six and continued all the way through college, graduating with a Vocal Music Education degree, piano principal.

Influences and inspiration
I have over 500 songs in my repertoire and play songs in nearly all styles: light classical, pop, rock, jazz, country, Broadway, ragtime, etc. My special favorites are the female singer/songwriters of the 70s: Carole King, Carly Simon, and Joni Mitchell, but I love all kinds of music!
Setup requirements
A tuned acoustic piano provided by the venue is ideal, but if needed, I can bring a Yamaha MM8 electric piano with a small amp. For larger/outdoor venues, the client would need to provide a larger PA system.
