Annie Lockwood Stand Up Comedian

With a background in television production, I excel at balancing entertainment and structure. I view hosting as if I am throwing a dinner party. I make sure at the top, guests know what is going to happen, and that each course is timed perfectly. A great host ensures that the folks at the dinner feel like the star and are set up for success. I am immensely gratified by helping people shine.
My skillset makes it seamless for me to adapt to changes on the fly by using my improvisation and troubleshooting skills in real time. Whether I am hosting a beer pong tournament, a night of karaoke, or a belly flop contest, I bring my professionalism. It helps that I am a trained improviser that can keep the material appropriate for any audience.

Brooklyn-based Annie Lockwood hails from Atlanta, GA where she grew her tenacity and creativity. Her uncanny ability to bring joy and inclusivity is what makes her stand out. The stage is where Annie feels most at home; starting with theatre in high school and continuing through her present work as a writer, comedian, and host. For almost a decade, Annie has honed her comedy and hosting skills through many improv classes and performing every week. Always motivated, she began producing and running several successful comedy shows around the Metro-Atlanta area. One of her shows, 8-Bit Comedy was named by Rolling Stone as "One of the Coolest Things to Discover in Atlanta." Her reputation has afforded her opportunities to perform in a dozen comedy festivals, clubs around the country, and private events. Some of Annie's highlights include opening for comedians like Rachel Feinstein, Ian Bagg, and Pete Correale, and in front of large crowds like at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival to premiere a Billy Crystal film.
Annie took her writing and hosting to a new level by becoming a writer/ producer for television, including shows for Bravo, Netflix, Investigation Discovery, and ABC. Not to mention, she previously wrote for WWE's Monday Night Raw and is a WGA member.
As of late, Annie has emceed 49 music/food/comedy festival cruises ( and more to come!) Her hosting duties covered an array of events such as wine tastings, game shows, karaoke, and guest participation contests. It has led her to host events alongside Steve-O, Eric Andre, Andrew Zimmern, Anne Burell, Impractical Jokers, Bert Kreischer, Hallmark Channel, Chris Jericho, AEW, and many bands/artists such as Creed and Train.
