Most talented person I've even seen perform!

I have seen Annie sing, play guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards. She can entertain an audience like no one else! Her creative originals captivate the audience from the very start, and her covers are on the mark! She's clever and amusing to the audience. She's got the whole package and then some!

Amazing vocals and talent!

Anna performed for our 10th anniversary party. In my backyard on an incredibly hot day. She never missed a beat. Her voice is amazing. Her repertoire is vast! She played some of my husband's favorite (I had told him how much he loves the Replacements) and everyone loved her. 10 out of 10. She's the best!;

About

With over 30 years of professional performance experience, Anna Zinn is a seasoned, dynamic musician known for her versatility, energy, and undeniable stage presence. From intimate bar gigs to large-scale festivals, Anna has played venues up and down the East Coast — including iconic locations like The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, The Stone Pony, BB King’s NYC, and L’Amour in Brooklyn. Her festival appearances include a featured performance at Rock the Farm in both 2021 and 2022, and she's rocked the stage at events like Staten Island Pride and numerous fundraisers.

Anna’s passion for music began in childhood. Before the age of YouTube tutorials, she taught herself guitar chords using a homemade stickball bat and rubber bands — determined to master the basics before her father would buy her a real guitar. By age 10, she earned that first guitar and never looked back.

A naturally gifted musician backed by years of formal training, Anna has studied under notable instructors such as Marty Killeen, Steve Irons (Mironovich), and Lenny Trerotola. She’s performed in a wide range of bands over the decades, bringing her talents on guitar, drums, keyboard, and vocals to acts like Baked Goods, Off White Trash, Anna Live & Acoustified, Electric Hippie, Mary Jane Society, SheRox, and Acoustic Surge.
Anna's musical style blends rock and roll, alternative, grunge, and pop, rooted in early influences from The Who, Pink Floyd, Joan Jett, and Nirvana, along with a background in Motown and classical music. Her vocals have been described as Joan Jett meets Stevie Nicks with a dash of Matchbox 20, and her performances are known for their raw talent, authenticity, and engaging presence.

As an openly lesbian artist, Anna has also been a proud advocate for LGBTQ+ visibility in music, opening for trailblazers like Alix Dobkin and Sarah Schulman in a celebrated NYC event in 2010.

In addition to performing, Anna is a passionate music educator, having taught guitar, piano, bass, vocals, and drumsto students of all ages for over 15 years. She has also worked as a strolling minstrel, bringing the healing power of music to individuals in rehabilitation and memory care facilities.

Whether you're booking for a bar crowd, festival, private event, or community gathering, Anna brings a crowd-pleasing, sing-along vibe with the perfect mix of rock attitude and heart. She thrives with adult audiences who love a good, raucous night of music — and she makes every show unforgettable.

Additional booking notes

To ensure the best possible experience for both the venue and its guests, Anna requires the following:

1) Access to Electricity: A standard electrical outlet is needed to power her sound system and equipment.
2) Merchandise Space: A small table or designated area for merchandise setup is requested to allow fans the opportunity to purchase music and memorabilia.
3) Tip Jar Policy: Permission to set out a tip jar during the performance is appreciated and helps support Anna as an independent musician.

These simple accommodations help create a smooth and successful show for all involved.
