Most photographers look for getting the shot at rapid successions in order to not miss anything, whereas I understand the importance of getting the shots but my focus and ability is being able to spot and capture the raw emotion. When I photograph an event I search for that subtle smile, the glimmer of accomplishment, genuine laugh and emotional feeling of the event. It is important to capture in true light the feeling and emotion of the day/night. To be able to look back on a moment captured in time and see the exhilaration on ones face is priceless. I take that same drive and passion when doing any other type of photography as well, wedding/glamour shots/ birthday/ life events and more.
