Overview
Anjai Gonza, an instrumentalist/vocalist who plays the Tenor, Alto & Soprano Saxophones discovered a love for the R&B, Smooth Jazz & Salsa genres early on garnered via inspiration from the likes of the Motown Sound, the Philadelphia Sound & the Fania Allstars. Crafting a unique sound that blends into mellow renditions from the nostalgic era of the '40s through the '60s (eg., Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole & Mongo Santamaria) to the sounds of the ensuing decades (eg., Michael Buble, The Beatles, Grover Washington, Kim Waters & Michael Jackson), Anjai has developed a sound that is both gritty and/or laid back for a musical atmostphere as the occasion may solicit.
