Dodd (lead role) and served as as extra alongside Emmy nominated Leon Robinson in the stage play, "Friends and Lovers". Internationally renowned Dr. Everett Gordon Parker of LSU Gospel Choir was instrumental in vocally training Anita to perform in a stellar fashion for large and diverse crowds. Dr. Alveda King, niece of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., shared in March 2012, “Anita, there is a new sound of worship in the earth and it's you. Your music transcends realms.”
