Overview
I am a classical upright/electric bass player in the Pittsburgh area. I have experience playing in ensembles ranging from Symphony orchestras to four piece bar bands. I focus on performing in short term groups like pits for musicals, subbing for players that are sick or can't make it, or studio sessions. I am familiar with a wide variety of music and also offer services on most other standard stringed instruments.

What to expect
I am a freelance musician. If you need a bass player to fill out your ensemble for a show or because your regular is sick or can't make it, contact me. I take pride in my ability to fill in for most styles of music to make sure the gig goes smoothly for an ensemble that has invited me to play.
About
I studied music education at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and currently teach elementary orchestra in the NA school district. Upright and electric Bass are my primary instruments, with secondaries in guitar, uke, mandolin, violin, viola, and cello. I do offer lessons to beginning string players on violin, viola, cello, bass, and guitar. I am a versatile player and have played in many different ensembles ranging from professional symphony orchestras and pits for musicals to quintets at weddings and 4 piece bands in bars. I am an easy going individual and will always be prepared and professional at every gig.
Additional booking notes
I provide basic equipment for myself at no extra fee.
If a gig requires more than one instrument (i.e. Electric and upright bass) I will quote a bit more.
