Couldn't ask for better!

Andrew hosted a show for me at the end of 2025. Consummate professional, on time, excellent on stage and rolled with the punches. Super funny guy, easy to work with, will definitely have him back!

What to expect

When you hire me to emcee, you can expect an event that stays organized and on track. The best way to make that happen is to keep an open line of communication from the planning stage through to the successful end of your event.

Before an event, I like to briefly connect to get a clear sense of what you’re looking for in an emcee, whether that means something structured and professional that runs on a strict schedule, something more casual and high-energy, or somewhere in between. Every event is different, and having that alignment upfront makes a big difference.

If there's anything you think I might need to know, it helps to shar it ahead of time, whether that's information about an honored guest, the history of your company, or something specific about the venue. Nothing is too small. I'd rather be overprepared than be caught off guard.

I also make sure we're set up with the right equipment for your event. If you already have a sound system at your venue, I'll arrive early to do a sound check to make sure everything is working properly. If not, I can bring microphones and speakers as needed.

During the event, my focus is on keeping things running smoothly while making sure the audience stays engaged, and staying aware in case you or the event planner needs to adjust something on the fly.

Live events are fluid, and even the best planning can't account for everything. If something unexpected comes up, there's a good chance I've dealt with something similar before. I’m used to working with a wide range of setups and environments, and I'm comfortable handling issues without letting them disrupt the flow of an event.

Overall, you can expect an event that feels organized, professional, and easy, while still being genuinely fun for the people in the room.

About

Over the past ten years of hosting live events across New York City, I’ve found you can count on each one to be unique. That's one of the things I love most about the work.

I'm comfortable hosting corporate events and private birthday parties, and while every show might be different, my goal is always the same: keep things moving, keep people engaged, and make sure everyone’s having a great time.

For the past four years, I’ve been hosting weekly trivia nights at multiple venues, where I’ve run shows for large, boisterous crowds made up of both returning regulars and new players looking for a fun night out.

Outside of my weekly trivia nights, I've hosted a wide range of events in very different settings. I ran a two-day investor showcase for app developers pitching to investors in a Midtown Manhattan high-rise, and I emceed a bodybuilding competition in the auditorium of a high school in downtown Manhattan. I've had the honor of officiating wedding ceremonies, and I've been invited to perform at a large public gathering at Strawberry Fields in Central Park as part of an international peace initiative.

This mix of experiences has taught me how to adapt to different audiences and find the right energy for each one. Some groups want a night of fast-paced, interactive fun, while others prefer a more relaxed approach. Most fall somewhere in between.
