Andrew Sapin

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Andrew Sapin was always destined to be someone great. Like many other talented musicians before him, Andrew drew inspiration from the people whom he loved the most. Although starting piano at the age of four, it was not until his grandpa’s passing that Andrew decided to focus on his musical career. Andrew’s grandpa was the one responsible for exposing him to musical legends such as Stevie Wonder who had a huge impact on Andrew’s early musical tastes.

At the age of 16, Andrew began to DJ many local events in the area. Never one to shy away from an opportunity, these events included weddings, graduations, and even his own school dances. It was at these events that his musical tastes began to expand. Realizing that the Pop/Soul genre was definitely for him, Andrew picked up a guitar and taught himself how to play. To this day, it is nearly impossible to run into Andrew without a guitar somewhere close enough for him to reach.

No matter where his musical career may one day take him, Andrew will always remember those who are less fortunate then himself. As a member of Musicians On Call, a group dedicated to bringing live music to patients in hospitals, Andrew continues to give back to his community. It was in his recent performance with MOC in Miami, where he saw the joy that music could bring to those in the direst of situations that Andrew reaffirmed his love with music. From those who were able to hear Andrew play during the early part of his career or those who have yet to hear him, a performance by Andrew Sapin is one that you will not want to miss.
