As a vocalist, I believe that when someone has hired me to be part of their wedding it's important to remember that I'm not there for me, I'm there for them. I'm performing to add to someone's special day, not distract from it.
If I happen to be hired for a memorial service or a celebration of life, I'm there to try to comfort the family and honor their loved ones.
There's nothing more personal than to be included in ceremonies and services like these and it's my job to treat that with humility, honor, and respect.
I've been singing in front of people nearly my entire life. My first solo was in church when I was just 5 years old. I sang all through school, winning numerous awards and recognitions. Then I went to college at Millikin University and UNLV studying vocal music. I have a wide range and I'm able to sing anything from bass to high tenor. I've sung everything from opera to pop to country to rock and more. I pride myself on being versatile and dedicated to those who hire me.
