Overview

I am a seasoned piano player who has performed for private affairs, corporate events, holistic fairs, holiday parties, wedding ceremonies, and receptions. My repertoire includes a variety of styles including Pop, Rock, Heavy Metal, Jazz, Show Tunes, Gospel, and Classical. I have my own keyboard, but I can perform on one at your site.

Through the course of the years, I developed an eclectic approach to my music. My attitude has been if I enjoy playing it, I will play it regardless of the genre. I would like to think the result has been a wide scope of music that appeals to a broader audience.

Exceeded all expectations !

Andrew exceeded all expectations on our wedding day! We booked him to play the piano for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Andrew played beautifully and our guests enjoyed the live music. leading up to our wedding, Mr. Kapplin was very professional and organized. Upon his request, he set up zoom calls and phone calls to discuss the event details. My wife and I often said, " out of all of our vendors, Andrew is the one most on top of things". It is very apparent that Andrew is enthusiastic about his art, and that shined as he performed at our wedding.

What to expect

My goal is to provide my clients with great sounding music, that can either be in the foreground or background of their events. I can play up to five hours of music which cover a variety of genres.

About

As far back as I can remember, I have always enjoyed being in front of the piano trying to make it sing. I was inspired to do so by the talent of my mother and older brother.
After giving my family members one too many headaches when I was much younger, I was given the opportunity to take piano lessons in order to refine my technique.

Additional booking notes

My equipment includes an 88-key electric piano with a damper pedal. I have a small amplifier that provides a fuller sound, along with several music stands for my sheet music. I have a surge protector unit, along with extension cord, that I can connect to a power outlet.
