August 3, 2026I have seen Amy sing many times and she sings with a lot of passion and heart in her voice. She can cover a wide range of genre's from R&B to rock to oldies. She has a good range to cover most hit songs people want to hear.

Amy Yvonne is a great fit for a diverse number of venues and event types. Some of her cherished favorites, such as "At Last" by Etta James, perform very well at weddings. She is a great ballad singer but can also cover upbeat and modern music as well as old-time favorites. She can learn most songs that you request. Her performance can be as visually muted or vibrant as you desire. She is experienced in performing at restaurants, community events, social lounges, parties, and coffee houses.
Raised in the Lowcountry, Amy Yvonne grew up singing on church worship teams and in theater plays. In college, she was awarded a scholarship to sing in Charleston Southern University's Gospel Choir. She graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts and Science. She started a swim school in 2011, and it grew to be South Carolina's #1 rated swim school. She continued singing in her local church and eventually joined a Motown and Oldies cover band. A year later, she started singing independently as the artist, Amy Yvonne. She now has a full band and is known around the Lowcountry for her soulful, diverse covers. Her favorite artists are Adele, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Noah Kahan, and Chandler Moore.
We are flexible in performing in many settings and can accommodate both acoustic and full-band setups.
