Artists across four continents have received performing artist, Ameerah Sabreen, as a versatile actress and vocalist. She made her operatic debut in Baltimore powerfully portraying the title role of Susannah with the Municipal Opera Company of Baltimore and her New York City Opera debut in their production of " Margaret Garner". Although known for her musicality and dramatic dexterity, Ameerah is respectively a skilled director, choreographer, and performer of spirituals. She frequently collaborates with dance and was featured as a soloist with the College Dance Collective. Ameerah often appears on stages across the world performing Spirituals and other classical works.
Ameerah Sabreen performs as a both a principal and ensemble member in musical theatre productions. Some of her stage credits include Mama Euralie in Once on This Island, Soprano Soloist in Walt Disney’s Candlelight, The Narrator in Webber’s Joseph, and the Wedding Guest in Blue Monday. Notable television and film credits include God’s Gonna Trouble the Water, House of Cards, Vocal Extravaganza, and Good Morning America.
Ameerah’s opera theatre and concert credits include the title role of "Aida", Mimi in "La Boheme",and both Clara and Bess in "Porgy and Bess". Ms. Sabreen made her principal debut with Washington National Opera as a dancer, actress, and soloist in "Lost in the Stars" and was later featured as the Queen of El Dorado in their production of "Candide". Her upcoming engagements include performing as Fatime in "Abu Hassan", the title role of Aida, and releasing an album of Spirituals and arias.
