New York born, jazz/pop vocalist, Amber Chiang, received her musical training at the University of Massachusetts. Her jazz styling influences are a combination of Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughn and Betty Carter as well as from Brazilian and pop artists. She has appeared around the world as a soloist singing jazz and pop, including at the Blue Note, NYC; and was the featured soloist at the 2000 Southern California Summer Special Olympics.
She received “Honorable Mention” for two of her original songs from the Billboard World Song Contest; and produced a CD of 13 original songs.
Inspired by her love of music, she has been teaching piano and voice for over 20 years.
It is great if there is a PA, however, we can set up our own sound system.
