Amber Jack is a Classic Rock Band specializing in music from the 60's to the present. We're open to specific requests & can provide DJ services along with live music if requested. We have a great light show & professional sound system! We play throughout New England so we have plenty of experience & references. We've been recently featured on Warren Zevon's Official Facebook Page, and played at Hollywood Slots Casino in Bangor over a period of a few years. August 2, 2017The band leader "Dean" was great to deal with. He inspected the proposed area where they would be playing about 4 weeks ahead of time. He was sure to mention to me several times that his job was to make sure myself and my guest had a great time. Anything he could do to assist in that goal he was willing to consider. starting and stopping the music was not a problem when ever we asked. The quality of the performance was also very good. We had an overall very good experience wit Amber Jack.

Hello, my name is Dean, the founder and lead singer of Amber Jack. As a band we've been on Gig Salad for several years and had nothing but positive experiences with both clients and Gig Salad staff. This year I decided to play solo mostly due to conflicting schedules. Anyways I'm going to be posting solo material soon which will be a short sample of songs I typically play at events. Please feel free to email with any questions you may have. One performer means you need to provide less room for a band and the price is significantly less. So the benefits of live music without the noise complaints. :)

Favorite bands and individual artists include The Beatles, Hank Williams Sr. The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Credence Clearwater Revival, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Nirvana, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and The White Stripes to name a few. My grandfather who I only met once when I was 8 gave me an 8 track of Johnny Cash, and said hey kid listen to this. I think you'll like it. That was how I got into music. I listened to that tape and he was right! I didn't start playing until years later but like with alot of people music became an important part of my life, especially as I got older. I'd say my top 3 musical influences are The Beatles, Hank Williams SR. and Nirvana.
