November 1, 2026We hired A. Marie and her assistant to teach Michael Jackson's Thriller dance at my wife's 65th Halloween birthday party, and they were fantastic!
A. Marie arrived on time and worked with me to keep the dance lesson a complete surprise. When our DJ announced that anyone who had ever secretly wished they knew how to dance to Thriller would finally get their chance, it was the perfect introduction!
A. Marie and her assistant did a wonderful job breaking down the choreography into easy-to-learn steps, making everyone feel comfortable and encouraging guests to join in regardless of their dancing ability. They were enthusiastic, patient, and engaging, making the entire experience fun for everyone. I can still hear A. Marie encouraging our guests with her cheerful, “That’s it, my love, you’re doing great!”
Watching our guests, dressed in their Halloween costumes, learning the iconic Thriller dance together was one of the highlights of the evening. It was exactly the kind of memorable experience I had hoped to create for my wife's birthday.

I (and my line dance team, the G~$QUAD) provide a high-energy, engaging and interactive line dance and party experience. It's more than dance instruction, with some unique, creative, and fun surprises! Every experience is guided by my 3 E's (Amarie's 3 E's) Engagement, Encouragement, and Enthusiasm.
I'm known as "Amarie". I'm a business owner, professional dancer, model, host and consultant from Long Beach, CA. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Western Governors University where I was selected as the commencement speaker. I own a body sculpting studio in Bixby Knolls, and I'm trained in different genres of dance. I occasionally host and teach classes throughout LA County. I've performed in music videos, dance ensembles, and showcases. My instruction is guided by my 3 E's (Amarie's 3 E's) Engagement, Encouragement, and Enthusiasm. I'm also the founder of LA's line dance team, the G~$QUAD. We have partnered and provided services and high energy line dance experiences for a variety of organizations, corporations, lounges, community partners and private clients. I love all things art and culture, and continuously work to live in my purpose through collaboration and connection within communities. I define myself as creative, amiable, intelligent, and ambitious, and strive to spread positivity, love, and light through my talents, skills, experience, and qualifications. I'm a wife and mother of 2 amazing boys and endeavor to make my family proud and put them in a position to prosper.
