Amanda Ellison

Amanda is a gifted professional singer! She did 3 songs for our mom’s memorial service and each one that she delivered was powerful and inspiring. She also took the time to suggest a couple songs that ended up fitting very nicely in regard to how it represented our mom. Everyone I talked with, commented how special the music was at the service. She is a very dedicated and humble person to work with. I was glad we had her provide the music. Everything went smoothly and we felt very supported at our time of grief and remembrance.

I would hire Amanda again and again and again. This was by far the best decision we made in our wedding entirely. First of all, she is a beautiful person inside and out. Secondly, her talent is unmatched. She has the most beautiful voice and is extremely talented. Not only did she travel for our wedding Day, but she made multiple trips to practice with us so we could hear the songs, but she also met with us individually to go through our song choices. She walked us through different options on how the songs could be sung and she listens to what YOU want and what your vision is - and it was better and more beautiful than I could have imagined!!! 6 months later and we are STILL being complimented on the ceremony piece sticking out the most to our guests (and our personal favorite part of the entire day). It was such a moving experience that we will cherish forever and we could not have had that without Amanda.

Amanda Sue Ellison has a wonderful voice and is even a more exceptional woman.

She sang for my daughter’s Wedding three years ago, and my son’s Wedding last year both attended by nearly 300 people. People still comment on the gorgeous music. So… guess who’s singing for my final child’s - (daughter) - wedding this summer?

Amanda is equally adept at singing solo, or in harmony with others, as well as a acapella arrangements. Her special ability to smile and connect with the congregation while singing makes her vocal gifts even more of a unique experience. She is thoroughly professional yet personal in her delivery .

For my children’s weddings she harmonized wonderfully in four part harmony to a song I had written As well as soloing at several parts . She also sang an acapella four part rendition of an adaption of Pentatonics version of Cohen’s “Hallelujah” - but with lyrics that were much more appropriate for a Wedding Ceremony. Not an easy version - but done unforgettably well.

Amanda also sings in a duo group known as “The Preachers Daughters” that perform frequently throughout Midwest venues.

I myself have been involved in music performance for nearly 45yrs and can attest that this woman has the vocal quality and engaging personality to bring smiles to faces and even make jaws drop at her performances.

You will not be disappointed.

Amanda sang three songs for our mom’s funeral. It was a very unexpected passing and our grief was overwhelming. Amanda was so comforting, gave guidance, and generously learned a new and difficult song for us. Very anointed, talented, and we are still talking about how incredible her voice and presence are. There is no one else I would recommend for a wedding, funeral, celebration…wherever an amazing talent is needed.

Amanda did an absolutely amazing job singing at my grandmother’s funeral. She performed several old hymns beautifully, and her voice brought so much comfort and emotion to the service. It truly meant a lot to our family and helped make the service a very special tribute to my grandma.
Amanda was also wonderful to work with. She was very responsive, kind, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She didn’t hesitate to make the drive out to our small church, which meant so much to us.
We are incredibly grateful for the care, professionalism, and talent she brought to such an important moment for our family. I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a beautiful and heartfelt performance.
