What to Expect
You can expect professionalism as much as you can expect FUN! I LOVE entertaining! Loooove making people laugh! LOVE LOVE LOVE connecting with an audience and interacting with them. I read my audiences well, so I know when to say what, and when not to. I do not cuss, I do not get drunk. I come prepared! I always dress to impress...with a LOT of blue:) I am THE girl for you and your events and parties!
Alyssa Jacey is a one-woman band. She plays guitar percussively, sings sweetly and soulfully, stomps on a stompbox with her right foot and a tambourine on her left. She's opened for Bruno Mars (twice), PEPPER, Andy Grammer (twice), Shawn Colvin, Lisa Loeb, Joan Osborne, Sophie B. Hawkins, Ambrosia, Keith Anderson, Meiko, Serena Ryder, Ryan Star, Angel Taylor, Jack Temphcin, Scott Russo, Chase Rice, Gary Hoey, Josh Kelley and more. She's the only indie artist in the world to have played on Southwest Airlines for #LiveAt35 (singing at 35k feet for all the passengers) and not only that, but she did it 14 times! Alyssa has played over 3,000 shows all over the world (she has a huge following in Sweden and Ireland) and has become known in Nashville as the "go-to girl for hotels." She's a regular performer in Nashville at Hotel Indigo and Loew's and a regular performer at The Ritz Carlton in GA, and several other hotels nationally. Alyssa is known for putting on a VERY entertaining show; She can sing, she can play and she's as good or even better at engaging an audience and keeping them in their seats.
Awards: She won first place at this year's Singer/Songwriter competition at the San Diego County Fair, Nominated 'Best Live Performer' for the Nashville Independent Music Awards (2013), won the 'Best Voice of San Diego' competition (2012), nominated for several awards last year and this year by TSAI for her songwriting and performs live on TV a handful of times a year. For a longer list of accolades, click here (link hidden). She's vocally compared to Alison Krauss, Colbie Caillat, Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow and Norah Jones and her style ranges from pop to country to blues to soul to reggae to folk to Americana to singer/songwriter to alternative...she has released 8 albums and 9 singles and they're all different genres!
Additional Booking Notes
My preference is to have sound and lighting equipment provided, however, I have the ability to bring my own of both! I also know how to run sound, so if there's equipment there and no one to run it, that's fine, too! I'm (mostly) a solo act; My husband Jutt Huffman and I perform as a duo sometimes, and we also bring a drummer on tour with us if the shows call for it. It's all dependent upon what YOUR needs are!
How long is the set?
Do you want all covers or is a healthy mix of originals and covers OK?
I have 8 albums out and 9 singles, all different genres. I play a wide variety of pop, folk/Americana, indie, country, blues, reggae and singer/songwriter.

PA system. Two to three speakers (so at least one can be a monitor). I have my own mic, mic stand, mic chord and guitar chord, however, if all (except the microphone) can be provided, then great!
