Altitude Groove is a Funk, Classic Rock and R & B cover/dance band that will elevate your event with a variety of high energy dance music from Michael Jackson to Shania Twain, Bruno Mars to Guns N’ Roses, Earth, Wind & Fire to Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac to Luke Bryan, Stevie Wonder to Journey, Prince to AC/DC - just to name a few. The band members are all veteran, versatile musicians with years of touring and recording experience.
Based out of Denver, Altitude Groove specializes in bringing Funk & Classic Rock dance music to any corporate event, wedding, private event, festival, concert or nightclub.

They played for our church BBQ and fortunately provided great entertainment and flexibility whilst we figured out how to get all the food in place. True entertainers!!!

My husband and I hired Altitude Groove for a corporate event. We had an amazing evening and everyone loved the band! Even some people that never dance got up on the dance floor because they play the best cover songs and sound so much like the real deal! The musician's are very talented and professional. From the first conversation, Michael goes out of his way to make sure the band will deliver whatever you need. They also look nice on stage with coordinated, classy attire and the 7 piece band is impressive. The sound is amazing. We will be hiring them again for a personal event. This band is great for corporate, personal, weddings... any event where you would want a band. They are also really nice people. Highly recommend!

Altitude Groove is a high energy 7-piece cover band that emphasizes a wide range of dance music spanning from the 60’s to current hits - and everything in between:

Our song list includes songs from Michael Jackson to Shania Twain, Bruno Mars to Guns N’ Roses, Earth, Wind & Fire to Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac to Gretchen Wilson, Stevie Wonder to Journey and Bob Seger, just to name a few. Music to satisfy most age groups and music interests….and having fun with the audience along the way!
Plus, we are happy to learn a few special request songs. If desired, our keyboardist can play quiet piano music during a dinner, or simply before the full band starts playing.
For weddings, we are happy to play a specially-requested song the Father-Daughter Dance and/or the First Dance. We can also be the emcee for announcements and speeches, but if someone in the wedding party would rather be the emcee, they are welcome to use our PA system and microphone.
Whatever the event, our goal is to have fun with the audience, keep them dancing, and make your event as successful as possible! We are always prompt, easy to work with, and dressed appropriately dressed for your event.
Additional booking notes
We are self contained with a high quality PA system, sound engineer and stage lighting. We are more than willing, though, to use the PA system and/or sound engineer provided by the faculty, if prefer.
We can also play recorded music of your choice in between our sets.
