Make your child's next party memorable with a musical jamboree led by Allie-Oops! Accompanying herself on guitar, Allie will sing your favorite kid and family friendly songs, as well as some of her light-hearted, kid-inspired originals. Her groovy collection of shakers, sticks, bells, drums, tambourines, scarves, and more provide tons of hands-on, music-making fun for your pint-sized partiers! Allie led classes and parties for babies and toddlers in New York City for over 10 years, and is now delighted to share the joy with families in the NJ/PA/DE area.

Allie’s fun filled musical treat!

Allie paid attention to details by learning all the kids names. She made the musical event fun and interactive and let the kids dabble at different instruments.

I hired Allie for my daughter's 1st birthday party. She kept a group of 9 kids under age 5 occupied for 45 minutes. The kids loved it! She brought shakers, scarves, bells, instruments, and even let the kids strum her guitar at the end. Worth every penny. She asked for my daughter's favorite songs before the event and even learned to play one that she didn't know. It was very cute.

Such a great time!

We hired Allie-Oops and honestly didn’t know what to expect. (Booked super last minute, within 3 days of the event) well WOW !!!! She was so fun, friendly and has the best impressions of a chicken! (The chicken dance song was a hit!) She also comes with shaker eggs, toys and scarves and really includes to guests. 5 stars!!!! Definitely will keep recommending to everyone!

Amazing

She was wonderful. We had 8 kids and she made it a point to learn all their names right from the start so she could include it in the songs. She had the kids singing and dancing along! She tailored her songs to what my child enjoyed which was greatly appreciated. Each child got a turn to strum her guitar and loved it as well.

What to expect

Allie-Oops: Children's Music and Musical Parties
As Allie-Oops, I do interactive children's music parties. This means that in addition to my singing and accompanying myself on guitar, I also bring a variety of musical instruments and props for children to explore. Children play with instruments, sing, dance, and move with the music. For babies and toddlers, parent participation is highly encouraged (which means you get to sing, dance and play too!)

I can also be booked as Allie-Oops for parties, fairs, festivals, corporate family events, etc. In this scenario, I perform (on a stage or similar area). Instruments and props are not included, but room near the stage for children to dance is highly encouraged! I can bring my own mics and amps or plug into your sound system.

To answer a frequent question, I DO have a parachute! It's big (about 12' in diameter), so if you have the space and would like me to incorporate it, just let me know!

Allison's Invention: Performing Singer-Songwriter (Not a Children's Act)
I can be booked for parties, fairs, festivals, clubs, colleges and other events. I perform solo, accompanying myself on piano (keyboard), ukulele, and occasionally guitar and kalimba.

Children's Music:
For over 19 years, she has taught early music to babies and toddlers, performed at children's birthday parties, holiday celebrations and family festivals. She plays a mix of classic and popular kid songs, original children's music, and well-loved pop and rock songs that will get your whole family moving and grooving! Allie-Oops sings and accompanies herself on guitar.

Additional booking notes

For Parties:
I can do interactive music parties in your home or at a party space, rec center, restaurant, park, etc. Every party is different, and I will work with you to create the best possible experience in the space where your party is being held. Here are a couple of things that are ideal:
1) Minimal distractions -- if the party is in your home, it helps to move toys aside or into another room.
2) Space for kids to sit in a circle and get up and dance

For Performances:
Depending on the venue, I'll need a direct line to plug in my guitar and a vocal mic on a boom stand. Please note, I can bring my own mic, stand and a small amp if needed.

Setup requirements

If you have a large group (25 or more children), are in a space with challenging acoustics, or just want a rock-concert vibe, I can bring a PA! Call or email to discuss the best option for your party.

For in-home parties with small groups of children, I generally play unplugged, in a circle with the children. The performance is much like a mommy-and-me music class, but super high energy!
