Allegria Ensemble

For wedding ceremony music we perform prelude music as guests arrive, the processional, anything you like during the ceremony, the "kiss" music and recessional, then additional postlude music as your guests disperse. For cocktail receptions and dinners we play light classical and popular tunes. We can make custom arrangements of tunes you request that aren't already in our repertoire.

Allegria String Quartet plays a variety of music for your wedding ceremony, cocktail reception, or other special event. We have an extensive gig repertoire of wedding standards, light classical, ragtime, waltzes, opera melodies, and arrangements of popular tunes including Metallica, John Legend, Eric Clapton, the Beatles, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Cole Porter and more. Our sound is perfect for social events where your guests can converse without shouting. We can also work in trio or duo combinations to fit your budget. References are happily provided.

We are classically trained, full-time professional musicians and members of the American Federation of Musicians and the Central PA Musicians' Association.

We perform in concert, for school programs, and as members of the Music at Penn's Woods Festival Orchestra. As private teachers we have a passion for developing the next generation of musicians.

Our set-up needs are simple: flat seated chairs and shelterfrom direct sun or rain. We bring our own battery powered lights for candle light settings. We play indoors or out.

Our needs are simple: chairs without arms and room to move our arms without bumping your guests. For outdoor engagements, we need shelter from direct sun, wind, or rain, and temperatures above 65 degrees. We bring our own stands, lights, and music.
