What to expect
A band like you've never quite heard before.
When you book Aliyah Danielle & The Mosaic, you're getting a live music experience that's as dynamic as the crowd in the room. Rooted in funk and soul with influences spanning jazz, Latin, hip-hop, R&B, and beyond, the band brings a sound that feels both familiar and completely fresh. We know how to get your crowd on their feet and keep them there throughout the event.
The Mosaic is a flexible ensemble that scales to fit your event, from an intimate trio setting to a full 11-piece band experience. Every performance blends carefully selected covers with original music, creating a setlist that flows naturally and reads the room. Whether it's a corporate reception, a wedding, a festival stage, or a listening room, the energy is tailored to the moment.
About
In 7th grade, Aliyah Danielle got kicked out of band—not for a lack of talent, but because of a burnt-out teacher on a power trip. But instead of giving up and walking away, she started asking a question that would shape everything that followed: if a negative experience could impact a person’s relationship with music so profoundly, what could a positive one do? She’s been exploring that question ever since.
What emerged from that curiosity is an artist who refuses to be put in a box. A singer, French horn player, composer, and producer, Aliyah blends genres into something that defies easy categorization—rooted in funk and soul, but reaching well beyond them. Her music is built on a belief that art should pose questions, start conversations, and help us understand one another more deeply. It is, in every sense, unconventional, and deliberately so.
Aliyah has performed across North America, Europe, and Asia, and has spent years advocating for equity and inclusion in music, creating spaces that ensure more voices get heard on stage, behind the scenes, and everywhere in between. Equally committed to the next generation, she is deeply invested in mentorship and music education, with a belief that access to transformative musical experiences is something every young person deserves.
At the core of everything Aliyah does is a simple but radical belief: that music is a two-way conversation. Between artist and audience, between tradition and innovation, between the personal and the universal. She doesn’t make music to be heard so much as to be felt, questioned, and carried. Whether she’s at home in NYC, on a stage in Amsterdam, at a festival in Montréal, or in the studio at 2am, that’s what she’s reaching for. Her sophomore record CONVERGENCE arrives in 2026.
