As a singer, songwriter, and performer, my music spans across genres like classic rock, country, folk, and soft rock, and my vocals carry both strength and vulnerability. Whether I’m belting out a rock n roll or delivering a soft ballad, my goal is to create a genuine connection with the audience. On stage, I bring a magnetic energy that captivates from the first note, drawing people into the experience. I’m currently studying at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. I have been performing consistently on and off campus with my solo band, my blues band (Double Take), and my hard-rock band (Skyrise).

Originally from Illinois, currently based in Miami, 20 year old Alexys Dowling is a singer, songwriter, and performer. Alexys’s songwriting spans across the genres of classic rock, country, folk, hard rock, metal, blues, pop, and soft rock. Her vocals carry both strength and vulnerability, offering a raw authenticity that resonates deeply. Whether she's belting anthems or delivering soft ballads, Alexys’s voice is a journey through passion, artistry, and pure talent.
Alexys is pursuing her dream at the prestigious Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, where she’s dedicated to inspiring others through her music. She leverages her resources, maintaining strong professional relationships with fellow musicians and producers. Her music shares an honest, vulnerable side of her journey, blending powerful, unique sounds that leave listeners feeling not alone and inspired. Alexys’s message centers on bringing people together and strengthening your relationship with ones’ self. She has been in multiple ensembles and bands that she has created throughout her years at the Frost School of Music. She's currently in a blues/ classic rock cover band (Double Take), a female-led hard rock band (Skyrise), a metal ensemble through the school (Landfall), and currently focusing on her solo career.
