When you hire me, you receive a personalized reception planner to get you started, then a meeting where we discuss all the details. I feature digital sound and a state of the art LED light show. I play a variety of music to get everyone on the dance floor and focus on the music you want to hear on your wedding day. I actually hired Alex for my wedding in 2005. She was great. The music was exactly what I wanted. She was early, needed no help setting up or tearing down. Was quick with any changes and was professional through the entire reception. I cannot say enough about how great the whole experience was with Alex Oneal Entertainment. I have recommended her to everyone I know and not one person that has had her do their even has had even one single thing bad to say about her and her company.

I LOVED HER! She was the best DJ ever! She was fun, energetic , spunky and the display of her DJ stand was awesome! I had mostly older people at my wedding and she came out and interacted with them and got them in the mood to get up and dance. She even came out and danced with us! She was amazing and I would pick her to be my DJ every time! We loved her! Thank you, Alex for being so amazing!

My husband and I contacted her as the DJ for our wedding last week. She made everyone have an awesome time there. We think she was the best of all our vendors! She is excellent at what she does!!! I'd recommend her as many time as she needs me to. Love her work:)

What to expect
As the Bride & Groom, you can expect everything to be taken care of from the very beginning. I will greet you when you first come in and line you and your wedding party up at the door for the Grand Entrance. From there, I make sure the events of the reception flow smoothly until the last dance.
For you and your guests, you can expect an evening filled with great music that you and I select together. Through your online reception planner, you receive access to my music library. You can select songs that are your favorites and those you don't want played. After dinner, I keep everyone on the dance floor with a nice variety of songs from genres you prefer (so if you don't like Country, I won't play it!). I also interact well with your guests and keep them informed of upcoming events so they don't miss a thing.
About
I started in the music business about 14 years ago on The Planet/WSSN in Clarksburg, WV...since then I have been heard on WFBY, WKKW, WVAQ, WKAZ, and most recently "Marshall and Alex in the Morning" on WCLG. I live in Morgantown, WV and started DJing weddings about 7 years ago. I have been loving it ever since! I go above and beyond what a typical DJ will do for a wedding. From the beginning, I provide an online reception planner with access to my music library. I then sit down with the bride and groom to plan out every detail, answer their questions, and provide solutions to any ideas or problems they may have. Once the wedding day is here, I work closely with the venue coordinator to ensure a smooth flowing reception. I want this day to be perfect for the couple and their guests so I play great music to keep the party going and everything on track. When you hire me, you are hiring someone who cares about you and the success of your event.
