Alec Lowe - Drummer/ Percussionist

If you hire me for an event you can expect me early, prepared and excited to perform, whether this is for weddings, corporate events, or other special occasions.

If you hire me for recording, I prefer to do remote recording in my own studio where I can ensure an incredible sound and end result. If I'm needed in person at a session, you can expect me early with all my equipment, and ready with all the materials I'll need to listen through the song 2-3 times, scribble up a quick chart, and perform it.

I'm Alec! I've been playing drums for over 18 years!

Within 2 years of playing drums, I toured internationally and spent months in professional studios. I've played dozens of tours with artists ranging from Madilyn Paige (Gospel Pop) and Jessica Baio (Pop), to Shrink the Giant (Indie Rock) and Among Wolves (Death Metal). I've played in over 60 groups in my lifetime ranging from jazz-cover wedding bands to death metal bands to country folk projects, orchestras, and salsa combos. Performing is my favorite thing to do, and I'd love to do it for you!

I graduated with a degree in Music Composition from Utah Valley University and I compose under a label at Warner Chappell. I currently teach private drum lessons at Dave Wilbur's Rock Lab in Orem, UT for any age. I have professional level skills in the orchestra, marching, and hand percussion worlds, which can add spice to any project you have in mind.

I have all my own equipment, microphones, studio, drums, cymbals, etc. I own 5 distinct snare drums that I use to dial in the perfect tone for every recording.

If you request anything other than drum set, I may or may not have that equipment, so let know exactly what kind of percussion you want me to perform for you.
