Are you ready for your audience to be given real action items for success and not just platitudes and business development jargon? We have had enough of that.

Your audience would get a little bit about my back ground only to frame the information I will share with them. After all, I am there for them not for me. During a presentation the audience will hear me cover a topic, why it's important and what may be different about my position versus what they may have heard in the past. Each topic is then broken down into points and each point is illustrated by a story or example.

Depending on the size of the audience, questions may be addressed throughout instead of at the end.

I just wanted to be helpful. I didn't have the same passion for the baking business that she had but I loved my wife and I wanted to support her. Sure I was able to support her financially but I wanted to do more. I wanted to write the book that I wished was available to her when she got started. But there were so many resources for women who were starting a homebased business, so I asked myself what I could do different? That is where I got the idea to write a book for the HUSBANDS of the wives who were starting a business.

I was not helpful to the actual hands on part of the business in the beginning. I was skittish about mixing batter and making buttercream. I made so many mistakes. Later on, I made fewer mistakes, but still too many. I over mixed, over poured, under baked, and missed steps. I wasn't just not helpful, I actually made things worse!

Over time, we slowly figured out where my strengths were in the business. I got better at baking cake layers and doing the repetitious work that freed up her time. However, my best skills were in technology and business development. I created an organized and succinct way to identify the 3 areas spouses can be productive, found the only categories customers care about in our surveys, and crated a winning framework for emailing our customers.

I am pretty comfortable in a variety of technical setups. Ideally a corded mic and speaker for most situations is my preference. If a wireless mic is the only option, I can accommodate.
