Hi Kim,
I apologize if our entertainment was not up to your standards. We had asked about music and said that we would bring a speaker, but what I didn't realize is that there would be 2 rooms we would need to encompass, along with the outdoor patio.
The danger that goes into fire performing is the nature of the job, and yes, the fuel does burn hotter in higher temperatures. We also performed during bright daylight, which makes it harder to see the flames, to the viewing party.
If we could do this over again, I would suggest that we perform during dark hours and that music was pre-prepared for setup. I would also do the same, on site, suggesting that we not subject your elderly retirees to the hottest part of the day. We still performed indoors and accommodated the needs and safety of the guests. The feedback we did receive was positive, from the guests.
I am sorry that we didn't meet your standards, however not everything goes perfect everytime. I did get burned pretty severely due to the high temperatures, but that's not your problem and I even continued to perform afterwards.
