Aiko Shimada Jazz Vocalist & Ensemble

Aiko is incredibly talented, kind, communicative, and punctual, and is wonderful to work with both as a musician and a business person. Her singing is beautifully unique and entrancing, and her and her ensemble plays with a renewed creative energy at every performance. Would recommend working with Aiko to anyone!

I had the pleasure to have Aiko several times as a singer, with her full jazz ensemble or as a duo with a pianist. Aiko is a very well established musician in the Sacramento community and did excellent performances each time. She has a broad repertoire that ranges from jazz standards to original songs. She was also very professional and easy to work with, being very responsive ahead of the shows, and coming up in advance the day of her performances to set up with all the necessary equipments she needed. Her voice and style of music were perfect for the jazz bar and lounges where I had her, where the crowd gave her many compliments. I shighly recommend her!

Aiko and her Jazz Ensemble were amazing!! The music was so beautiful and relaxing! Such a pleasure to have them play for us!! Paired with a glass of wine and an appetizer it made for the perfect evening of music and relaxation!! I would definitely have her and the rest of the band back anytime!!

Aiko and her band(s) our professional and reliable, and extremely high-quality jazz music. We have booked them many times and love working with them.

This band brought an incredible energy to the room from the very first song. Their improvisations were seamless, and the chemistry between the musicians was amazing to watch. They kept the crowd completely engaged all night. If you get a chance to see them play live, do not miss it!
