Aggressive Monks is a high energy rock band that performs throughout the Bay Area. We play covers of great songs from the 1970s through 2000s to include Nirvana, Weezer, White Stripes, Green Day, Raconteurs, Foo Fighters, Blink 182, CCR, Offspring, Beatles, and more! We have 3+ hours of material. We've received great feedback from all of our shows. Check out our videos on social media!

October 2, 2026I've seen Aggressive Monks at Maggie McGarry's, Ireland's 32, and the Savoy Tivoli, and every show has been a blast. Their catalog runs deep and their nonstop energy keeps the hits coming all night. What really stands out is how wide their appeal is, with newly 21-year-olds and folks in their 60s jamming out side by side on the dance floor. If you want a band that packs the room and gets everyone singing, book Aggressive Monks!

August 4, 2026Aggressive Monks is the best cover band I've heard. The drummer and bass player are perfectly in sync and the front man is amazing and so versatile. They have an amazing set list of songs that spans across decades and appeals to a broad audience. It's clear they love to perform and really keep the crowd engaged. Check these guys out!

August 3, 2026Aggressive Monks started their show a little past 9pm. Maybe thirty people in the club. By the time they played about 5 songs the place was standing room only and the dance floor was PACKED with everyone singing along. They played a tight set with nonstop hits from several decades. Check-’em out you won’t be sorry.

August 2, 2026Love when Aggressive Monks play at Spanckys! They bring the best energy and always sound so good. They do great covers of Nirvana, Cranberries(Linger is my fav) and the Killers. Honestly they crush all songs. Can't wait to see them play again.
