mid-May to Oct.: Adventure Pony Rides offers real trail ride experiences for non-experienced riders of all ages. We hand lead wonderful ponies on trails over logs, under branches, up and down hills offering instruction and obstacles to develop confidence in all riders. Adult Ride Along and lessons are available.
Farm Life Petting Zoo & Toyland includes hands on with bunnies, chickens, goats, a ferret and a cockatiel.
We also offer PONY PARTIES at your home, business, family reunion, school, church or local park.

What to Expect
Wonderful ponies, small through large, take children of all ages up and down hills, over logs, across small wooden bridges, on forest trails and through wetlands with gorgeous views. Watch for deer and wildlife! In addition to mounting and dismounting, riders learn to hold the reins, steer, stop a horse, and duck under branches. A minimum half hour session for $30 includes several rides for 1- 3 children. A one hour session is $60 for a longer Adventure Ride or more children. All pony rides are hand walked or led; no circle rides. Helmets are provided with sizes for toddlers through adult. We open in springtime until October. Bring a water bottle, closed toed shoes, and a camera…be prepared for lots of smiles!
FOR PARTIES AND SPECIAL EVENTS:
WE COME TO YOU!! We bring ponies to birthday parties, family days, or holiday parties. Parties may be one hour or longer with one to four horses. Our hand walked ponies can visit your backyard, school, church, festival, business or local park.
We’ve provided the ponies for the Festival at Sandpoint since 2011.
HORSE CAMPING is now offered to those who already own horses.
Additional Booking Notes
Instruction is given for interested children during Adventure Rides. Supported rides are also available for first time teen/adult riders and those who want to get back in the saddle! Formal English and Western lessons for all ages are available at the same price.
For FREE after your ride play with our dogs who do tricks (one rides the ponies), search for real chicken eggs and pet fuzzy bunnies.
Fresh farm eggs are available for $3.00 a dozen; $4.50 for 18. We love egg carton donations.
Make a day of it in July & August by picking Shingle Mill Blueberries and playing in the Pack River. The country Pack River General Store is nearby for lunch, beverages, snacks, wonderful salads and prepared dinners to go.
Riders should wear a closed toe shoe or boots; no sandals please. We provide helmets. Shorts are fine. We suggest you bring water. Picture takers should wear sturdy footwear for running through the woods.
