From the initial phone call through the post-performance wrap-up, it was a pleasure working with Adam. He made the entire process easy and stress-free—especially helpful in planning an online birthday party for a seventh-grader!

Adam Stone brought magical memories into our home today. My goal was to have a birthday bash for my 5 year old that would include some of the first and fondest memories that my son will ever have. My company put on an end of the year Gala for our employees, and we decided to have a magician come by to perform strolling magic to keep things interesting. Adam did an awesome job keeping everyone entertained and doing tricks that would blow everyone's mind. That party was almost a week ago, and people are still wondering how he did what he did. Our employees range from ages 20-70, so there's something to be said about keeping everyone of all ages amazed. Not to mention Adam is super pleasant to work with! From Day 1, he was kind, understanding and very easy to work with. He's very personable and connects with people effortlessly. We booked Adam for a special activity at our small day camp (11 children) for a Harry Potter themed children's magic show. Each child got the chance to participate in the show and get sorted into a Hogwarts house at the beginning, and they also got to use a wand during the show. The kids ages 4-10 really enjoyed it and it was definitely the highlight of our week! We hope to work with Adam again for future events.

About
Entertaining Children
Adam Stone has 15 years of experience working as a special education teacher for students of all ages. After his career change to the University of Maryland Medical Center, he wanted to be able to have still the opportunity to make kids laugh. "As a teacher, my goal was always to make my students enjoy going to school. I found being silly was the best way to engage them and make them want to participate in class. I now have two daughters of my own who are the joys of my life. I love spending time with them, and they tolerate the fact that I am a boy and have no idea how to play correctly."
Entertaining Adults
Adam has a masters degree in Orientation and Mobility and has lectured at Universities around the world. He is comfortable on stage performing for large groups as well as within more intimate settings, such as parties, weddings, and other social events. He brings humor and joy to everything he does and can make anyone laugh (also in a good way).

I am very flexible and simply want you to be able to have a wonderful party your child will remember for the rest of their life. I have my own supplies, (table, chairs, audio system, etc) and am happy to make your dream party come to life.

Set list
I create a new set list for each performance with the events specific details in mind. I want you and your guests to feel celebrated and to go away feeling like the entire production was created just for you because, in reality, it was. All of my shows have hand pick magic effects designed for maximum audience participation and age-appropriate laughs. I will only do family style shows so if you are looking for something off-color I will not be a good fit for you.
Influences and inspiration
The Origin Story of Adam Stone (the magic story, not the birth one)
Upon arriving home from work one crisp autumn day, Adam was surprised to discover his two daughters and wife had signed him up to be in the Mid Atlantic Youth Ballet's production of The Nutcracker. He would be dancing with all of his family and received the role of Drosselmeyer, the magician uncle. Strangely, Adam had little personal experience dancing in a ballet and even less with magic. Determined to be a good father, he quickly agreed to the task and went about trying to get started learning the craft of magic. This mission took Adam down the Yellow Brick Road, quite literally, to Rosedale Md, and the magic shop of Denny Haney called Denny and Lee Magic Studio. Denny took Adam under his wing, and the two began working on the logistics of the upcoming Nutcracker performance.
