Adam Shavin

Adam Shavin is a lifelong guitarist and improviser and has largely found himself in the territory of surf, blues, classical and jazz fusion. His minimalist approach to performing, combined with a substantial formal music education, allow him to elevate the ambiance of settings like wine bars, dinner parties and gallery events.

For studio sessions, Adam is a quick study and will be able to pick up your song and provide interesting and fitting guitar tracks in little time.

Adam Shavin began playing the guitar at age seven. Over the following decade, he learned additional instruments, including bass, piano and drums. He then earned a Bachelor's degree from The Hartt School in Connecticut in 2016, focusing on music theory and history.

After his undergraduate education, Adam began taking commissioned composition projects and showing work in visual art exhibitions. Now, Adam’s career revolves around the guitar - whether it’s gigging as a soloist/improviser around Atlanta, self-producing original music, teaching private lessons, or providing guitar on a client's project.

Setup is flexible and low maintenance. Only requests are access to a power source and a chair ( + cover if raining).
