Adam was very professional, and put on a great show!

We had Adam come perform at our University for a Family Weekend event. He was easy to work with through the booking process, and was very accommodating our needs. He found an opening comic for us, and both of them put on a great show. Would definitely work with Adam again!

Hired as: Corporate Comedian, Stand-Up Comedian

Very Adaptive-Fair Pricing

We recently had Adam entertain us at a non-profit event in a rural area. He did a great job adapting to a crowd that was probably not his norm, having a very broad age range and a few somewhat conservative folks in the mix. The value of his pricing also seemed very fair for the time/quality of the show. We all had a great time!

Hired as: Stand-Up Comedian

What to expect

Stand-up Comedy isn't only about telling jokes. It's about taking an audience's pulse and temperature, and about establishing a relationship with them. It's about finding out what's funny today to THIS audience, and about sharing what we have in common...and what makes us laugh together...at each other and at ourselves. Even when you're verbally fighting off a heckler, you have to love that heckler...first for being there, and then for caring enough to get involved. We're all here to have fun!

An audience can expect to laugh at my foibles and their own.

A client can expect clear communication, fair prices, and a level of professionalism that comes with 30 years of show-business experience. Oh, yeah, and a lot of laughs!

In his stand-up, Adam explores the lessons in humility he’s learning from his wife and especially from his children, along with the adjustments that genuine adulthood are forcing upon him. Having lived in East Africa, India, and New Jersey, Adam is attuned to the absurdities that arise in the everyday, mining both the ironies and silliness that exist in the most humbling situations (with which he continues to gain vast experience.

Adam has recently opened for such comedy legends and luminaries as Robert Klein, Colin Quinn, Gilbert Gottfried, and Larry Miller.

Adam performs at comedy clubs all over NYC and the surrounding area, including Gotham Comedy Club, Levity Live, Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, The Laugh Lounge, CB's Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, and Treehouse Comedy. Also at corporate events, synagogues, theatres, and JCCs throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.

As a writer, Adam co-authored the movie, The Pompatus of Love, with Jon Cryer (Best Comedy, Worldfest-Houston), which he also co-produced and in which he starred along with Mr. Cryer and Kristen Scott Thomas, among others.

Adam’s plays have been produced by Ensemble Studio Theatre, among other companies in New York, as well as in Los Angeles and regionally, and his work has been published by Dramatists Play Service. He has also penned several TV pilots, which have been produced for Cable TV.

As an actor, Adam has appeared on Broadway, Off Broadway, in Regional Theatre, in the movies, on episodic TV, and in hundreds of TV and radio commercials. He was nominated for a Clio Award (the Oscars of commercials) for Best Performance.

Additional booking notes

I will work with you on the technical requirements and equipment for the job. I was the Producing Director of a Theatre Company in NYC for 12 years, putting together scores or theatre productions. So, assembling the elements for a Stand-Up show is no problem.
