Acrobatic stilt-walker, contemporary dancer and accordionist, Isabelle Kirouac offers original acrobatic stilts animations and performances for audiences of all ages, in outdoor or indoor venues and urban spaces. She specializes in unique acrobatic stilt animations. From street improvisations to one-of-a-kind performances for special events, her work is dynamic and integrates choreography, partner acrobatics, lifts, drops, as well as music and poetry to her acrobatic stilt vocabulary.

Isabelle Kirouac is a professional dancer, acrobatic stilt-walker and movement educator. She has been teaching and performing for many years in Canada, the US, Mexico, Colombia, Estonia, Spain, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Israël, Morocco, Palestine and Senegal. Her stilt performance work “Like Houses through a kaleidoscope”, is a duet with Lea Kieffer (France) exploring the relationships between a ground dancer and an acrobatic stilt-walker and incorporating dance, circus and theater. It has been awarded grants from “Fonds de creation et de développement professionnel de la MRC d’Arthabaska” and “Canada Arts Council”, and has toured Quebec and California.
As an acrobatic stilt dancer, Isabelle has been a core member of The Carpetbag Brigade Physical Theater (San Francisco/USA) and she collaborated with La Belle Zanka (France), Nemcatacoa Teatro (Colombia), Still Moon Performance Arts Society (BC/Canada), Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret (BC/Canada), Firebelly Productions (BC/Canada), Flam Chen Pyrotechnic Teater (USA), Co Julie Danse (New Brunswick/Canada) and Les Foutoukours (Quebec/Canada).
